Layla is a Licensed Professional Counselor and earned her master of science in clinical mental health counseling from Southern Connecticut University in 2023. She integrates holistic and clinical interventions including CBT, CPT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness to somatic experiencing.
She focuses on supporting clients in re-establishing and/or developing trust with themselves. Layla practices through a multiculturally competent, trauma-informed lens while listening to and learning from her clients. She has experience in trauma-related disorders, eating disorders, anxiety/mood disorders, and substance abuse.
Layla believes that to love yourself is to know yourself and she invites clients to find the tools that will help them best tune into their intuition.
