Mission Reset: Structured IOP for Veterans
An individualized plan may include clinician-led groups, individual therapy, psychiatric care, medication management, family involvement when appropriate, skills practice, and transition planning. Medical services are overseen by Dr. Straun, Waterview’s Medical Director, who is board-certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Admissions also considers transportation, outside supports, and whether consistent attendance at the Wallingford location is practical.
Mental Health Track — Depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, ADHD, personality disorders
Chemical Dependency Track — Substance use disorders with evidence-based relapse prevention
Co-Occurring Disorders Track — Integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use
Mission Reset Track — Specialized IOP for first responders and veterans
Treatment may incorporate CBT, DBT-informed skills, trauma-informed approaches, and EMDR when clinically appropriate. These approaches are selected based on assessment and treatment goals; no single modality is used for every veteran.

Our clinical team treats a wide range of mental health and substance use conditions, including:
