Peer Support Specialist, Mission Reset

Keith is a dedicated professional with experience in both public service and recovery care. After a 27-year career which included 5 years as a 911 dispatcher and 22 years as a Corrections Officer, with the last 5 years serving on the Employee Assistance Program providing support to staff and their loved ones, he transitioned into the field of substance use disorder now serving as the Clinical Outreach Manager at Aware Recovery Care. In this role he specializes in providing treatment to first responders. Additionally, Keith is certified by the National Critical Incident Stress Foundation to provide peer support to those in crisis following a critical incident. Keith also holds certificates in other peer support roles such as Mental Health First Aid, Group and Individual Peer Counseling.
