Alexandra is a compassionate and client-centered clinical mental health counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges with empathy and insight. Her experience spans community-based, clinical, and extracurricular settings, where she has supported clients across the lifespan.
In her most recent role as a clinician at Guilford Youth and Family Services, Alexandra provided individual and group therapy to clients ages 6 to 18, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral dysregulation, family conflict, and crisis situations. She is highly skilled in building authentic therapeutic rapport, conducting thorough diagnostic assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans grounded in client strengths and needs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven, blending a justice-informed lens with a trauma-sensitive, developmentally appropriate approach. Her work is guided by emotional intelligence, cultural responsiveness, and a deep respect for the lived experiences of every client she serves.
