Marva has over 20 years of experience in social work conducting both individual and group therapy.  She has the ability to work with diverse and challenging adult and adolescent client populations.  She has held leadership, regulatory and supervisory positions at various levels of care including at Natchaug Hospital in Enfield, CT,  Root Center for Advanced Recovery in Manchester, CT and is a private practice owner and therapist at BetterHelp virtual therapy.

Marva offers specialized clinical skills in treating both mental health and substance use disorders and also offers trauma-informed therapy.  She received a bachelor’s degree from St. Johns University in NY and a master of social work with a concentration in social work administration from the University of Connecticut, School of Social Work in West Hartford, CT.
